In addition to providing hyperbaric oxygen to problem wounds, the HyOx team educates patients on the basics of wound care and self-management techniques they can apply at home such as:

• Antibiotic therapy
• Education and prevention methods
• Wound Dressings (conventional)
• Nutrition
• Rehabilitation techniques/exercises
• Protective footwear

HyOx provides wound care to its hyperbaric oxygen therapy patients and if only requested by a referring specialist. In many cases, HyOx patients are under the clinical care of a hospital-based wound care center.
