Hyperbaric Physician

ABOUT THE ROLE
HyOx Medical Treatment Center is seeking a Hyperbaric & Wound Care Physician to join our dynamic, purpose-driven team in Marietta, Georgia. Our physicians provide comprehensive care for patients with complex and catastrophic injuries, including radiation injuries, chronic and non-healing wounds, and crush injuries. This is a full-time, on-site role with a strong focus on hyperbaric medicine and wound care.

You’ll perform patient consultations, supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and provide wound care procedures, such as debridement and grafting. Physicians share on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage — emergencies are rare.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct patient evaluations and consultations for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care

  • Supervise daily hyperbaric oxygen treatments in accordance with UHMS guidelines

  • Perform wound care procedures, including debridement and graft application

  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Participate in shared call rotation (rare emergency cases)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD or DO, board eligible or board certified, with completed residency

  • Eligible for Georgia medical license (licensure assistance available)

  • Board certification in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine preferred

  • Wound care certification (e.g., CWSP, CWS) preferred

  • Prior hyperbaric and wound care experience strongly preferred
