A PRN Chamber Tender helps our clinical staff provide hyperbaric medicine treatments to our patients. Normal hours are 5:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m., Monday - Friday. The specific days are agreed upon based on need and availability of both parties, typically 1-3 days per week. This is an excellent position for nurses, EMTs, and/or students in medical fields.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Making patients feel welcome and comfortable

• Collecting vital signs

• Preparing patients for treatment

• Serving as an inside chamber tech

• Operating chamber console (“driving chamber”) after receiving proper training

• Maintaining treatment logs

• Cleaning and preparing chamber for next treatment

Requirements:

• CPR certification

• High school degree or equivalent

• Current state license if required for discipline (for example, a valid nursing or EMT license)

• Enthusiastic about serving in all areas as needed

• Able to lift or assist in lifting patients when necessary

• Able to safely dive with patients including, but not limited to, clearing ears due to pressure changes
